About the Event

Fitness Optimization – Integrated Fascial Assessment & Training

Course Description: This course delves into the fundamental human movements such as breathing, running, walking, pushing, pulling, and rotating, which are vital yet often overlooked in clinical and orthopedic assessments. Designed for practitioners and fitness professionals, the course offers in-depth knowledge to understand the fascial system of the human body in relation to everyday activities. It aims to equip performance and fitness experts with the skills to identify movement inefficiencies and devise appropriate corrective exercise and training programs. A critical focus is on comprehending the basics of human movement and recognizing deviations to promote movement efficiency. The course extensively covers the five subsystems of the body: core, deep longitudinal sling, posterior oblique sling, anterior oblique sling, and the lateral sling.

Learning Objectives: Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify      and understand the types of fascial slings and their functions as      supported by research.
  • Detect      fascial weak points with confidence and expertise.
  • Stimulate      the fascial system effectively through targeted interventions.
  • Develop      exercise programs that cater to the intricacies of the fascial system for      optimal movement efficiency.

Course Structure:

Day 1: Foundations of Fascia and Movement

  • Introduction      to Fascia: Understanding Its Role in Human Movement
  • Essentials      of Breathing: Techniques and Impact on Performance
  • Autonomic      Nervous System (ANS) Balance: Correlation with Breathing and Movement
  • Biomechanics      of Gait: An In-Depth Analysis

Day 2: Exploring the Fascial Slings

  • Deep      Longitudinal Sling: Anatomy and Function
  • Posterior      Oblique Sling: Its Role in Stability and Movement
  • Anterior      Oblique Sling: Understanding Its Kinetic Influence
  • Lateral      Sling: Mechanics and Its Significance in Lateral Stability
